Ingredients:
8 hot dogs
8 hot dog buns
1 stick unsalted butter, melted
1 stick unsalted butter, melted
Directions:
Halve the hot dogs lengthwise, making sure to not slice all the way through.
Place the hot dogs cut-side down and grill until browned and slightly charred, about 4 minutes per side.
Brush the melted butter on the inside of the buns.
Brush the melted butter on the inside of the buns.
Grill the buns buttered-side down until lightly browned, 2 to 3 minutes.
Place the hot dogs in the toasted buns and serve with your toppings.

I make this in a frying pan on the stove. I brown the wieners in butter and throw in some thinly sliced onion. Then I melt a little more butter and toast the buns. Best hot dogs Husband and I have ever had!
