You must do the things you think you cannot do.
~ Eleanor Roosevelt
I like this quote because it is so true. I can remember when I first started back to school in 1999 and thinking about how much math I needed to graduate, which was five math classes. For a person who didn’t excel at math, that seemed to be an insurmountable task.
But you know what? I took those classes, one class, one semester at a time, and I completed all those math classes. When all was said and done it felt good to be on the other side of it and have all of that behind me.
If there is something in your life that you want to accomplish, take it one step at a time and you can get there.
This is my favorite section to browse through because I never know what useful thing I will find.
Like this beautiful Pioneer Women salad bowl set…
I’ve had file folders on my to buy list for a few months now and found two of these at the sale. They are so pretty too.
I also found these alphabet dividers. I thought I needed some new hanging file folders and they had some at the sale for $7.00, which I thought was high. I left them and will check on the 50% off day to see if they are still there. But then I realized I don’t need them at all as the alphabet dividers did the job perfectly.
And a few other items such as another long spoon, a pineapple cat house, silver polish, pizza cutter, and Rubbermaid pitcher.
We bought gas this week and paid $3.23 per gallon.

oh man what a sale! I just love your bargains. Our gas is a lot higher here... we did manage to go to Sam's and get it for $3.43. Depending where you are in the county it can go as high as $3.99. I don't know why they said something about a gas refinery blowing up in Indiana where Michigan gets it gas. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteYikes! I hadn’t heard about the gas refinery blowing up. I hope no one was hurt. The sale was so good. Bailey went back last night for the 75% off sale and loaded up again! She is all set on inventory for a while.
DeleteI live in the US & my gas is still over $5 gallon. It’s probably higher than that in Calif.
DeleteThat cheesecake sounds so good!
ReplyDeleteWow, that looks like a huge consignment sale. Looks like you got some great deals. Pioneer woman's dishes are so pretty.
Hope they are able to finish your driveway, and I know it will make it easier to get in and out esp this winter.
Hope you have a great weekend.
I love cheesecake and this one is a keeper for sure. 😊
DeleteYes, this consignment sale is so big it is overwhelming to me.
They did get the driveway finished last night, but I think we are going to have to have more gravel. It’s a never ending project it seems like.
I love cheese cake, and your recipe sounds delicious.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend, Belinda.
Thank you, Nil. I hope you have a wonderful weekend too. I love cheesecake too. 😋
DeleteYou'll now fit in with the mom YouTubers with your Pioneer women bowls. I've seen them in Walmart - not inexpensive so a good find. All your funds were terrific. Now that My daughter has extra room, I think she's going to try a hand at resell, start with just purged items.
ReplyDeleteThey do seem to have a lot of Pioneer Women bowls. 😂
DeleteI wish your daughter the very best in her reseller journey. Starting out with purged items is a great way to start.
