IGA Sale

Made a quick stop at IGA today while running other errands to pick up two items. First on the list was eight ounce blocks of IGA Cheddar Cheese, which were on sale price at 3 for $5.00, which makes them $1.66 each.  A good price since the recession started back in 2008 when $1.50 was the average price of this size block of cheese.

Also on sale was Butterball turkey bacon priced at $1.00 each. I had a coupon from All You magazine for $1.00 off two packages, so I picked up two packs, and ended up paying 50¢ each for those.

Any good deals in your area this week?

  1. Good deals, nice that you were able to add a coupon, too, to the mix!

  2. Wow, great deals! I'm doing my best to completely stay out of the store this week. Any costs of driving to town would quickly offset any savings so I'll only be looking for sales if I happen to find myself in town.

  3. Thanks, Shara. :) I've spent a lot of time this summer staying home. Sure saves on gas and is easy on the budget. lol
