that chicken pot pie looks wonderful! Lots of vegetarian meals here this week, salads, soups and beans.
Chicken every Sunday at Grandmom's home. Little one that I was, I accompanied Grandpop to the chopping log to watch. Then into Grandmom's kitchen, where her largest pot of boiling water waited on the stove. When the chicken feathers were ready, we plucked the feathers, and Grandmom prepared our large, Sunday, roasted chicken. Chicken pot pie in a casserole every week, as well as meals every way Grandmom could use the entire chicken.
