Good Deals on Health & Beauty Products

Health and Beauty items bought with coupons doubled at Bi-Lo today. Lady Speed Stick was 2.13, minus 75 cents off coupon, so I paid 63 cents. Toothbrushes were B1G1 Free minus three 75 cent off coupons, so I paid 60 cents each.  

Basic Crest toothpaste was on sale for 1.88, had 75 off coupon, so I paid 38 cents. (Dentist wants dd to use basic toothpaste & says Pro Health is not for children). Pro Health Crest toothpaste was $2.99 on sale,  had 75 cent off  coupon, so I paid $1.50. This is my favorite toothpaste that I have paid $4.00 a tube for in the past, so anytime I can add one to my stockpile for $1.50 I will jump at that price. 

Total Spent: $4.91.

Free Shampoo

Here is a canister of Suave Professional dry shampoo, which I received free with a free coupon I received in the mail from Suave's Facebook page. The shampoo was $2.74, and my daughter had been asking for some dry shampoo to use during the week when she didn't want to wash her hair. Perfect timing!

Crest Pro-Health Clean Cinnamon Toothpaste

Pictured above is the lastest deal on my family's favorite toothpaste. We like the Crest Pro-Health Clean Cinnamon, but it has been harder and harder for me to find lately, so I've been stocking up when I find it. The price I pay is $3.58 at Walmart. Kmart had this type of Crest toothpaste on sale this week 2 for $6.00, so I price matched it at Walmart. I also had three coupons: one for 50 cents off and two for $1.00 off. Here is a breakdown of my savings:

Original Price at Walmart: $10.74

Price Matched Sale from Kmart $9.00

Used 3 coupons for $2.50 off

Total Price: $7.50

Total Savings: 3.24

Now $3.24 may not seem like a lot of money to you, but it is to me. My favorite author on the subject of Frugality, Amy Dacyczyn, said we should sweat the small stuff like this because these things will add up over time.
