This Week's Money Saving Tip
Make the Most of Sales and save more on your grocery budget by planning your meals around the sales as much as possible.
For example, if chicken is on sale, make recipes using it instead of beef or pork. If cabbage is cheap, have it as your vegetable a couple of times during the week.
If an item you regularly use is on sale, buy extra if you have room in your budget and save it for those weeks when it isn't on sale.

DeleteSounds like a tasty week!
ReplyDeleteI try to make the most of sales, but there aren't as many good sales anymore. Hopefully there will be a good sale for Easter.
Thank you, Kathy. I hope there are some good sales for Easter too.
DeletePretty much the only way I will eat salmon or tuna is as patties, loaves, or casseroles. I am just not that big a fish eater. I do wish I enjoyed them more.
ReplyDeleteYour menus sounded lovely.
God bless.
Thank you, Jackie.
DeleteI haven't had salmon patties in ages. My mom makes the best! I'll have to see if I can wrangle an invite soon.
ReplyDeleteI hope so too, Wendi.
DeleteSo much of the past few days center around a chicken I roasted on Saturday. I love post-holiday food shopping because there is always marked down meat. And eventually, candy too!
ReplyDeleteOh yes! I love markdowns!
