I just did a post yesterday, but already am feeling like swapping out things on my list even though I didn't have a real menu plan anyway. I've been thinking about cottage pie-well mashed potatoes so for sure that will be on the plan at least one night. I spent a bit too freely this weekend, so am tightening up things a bit more.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, Sam. I will probably switch a few things out as well. I’m going to try and stretch what we have farther, which means we need to buy less of some things. October was a birthday month, so we had some specialty food, and Thanksgiving Is this month, so I need to plan for at least one dessert, so I don’t want to go overboard. Decisions, decisions.
DeleteMy menu is done and already started. Still trying to clear things out though so my meals are going to be pretty repetitive.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Repetitive is A-OK in my book, Jackie. The important thing is your family is being fed. :)

Thank you, Joy. :)
DeleteYour menu sounds good! I've been craving a bowl of hurst 15 bean soup, so I'm going to put them on my grocery list. $2 for a big pot of soup beans sounds good to me. Oh I made your hawaiian chicken last night. It is a favorite of ours, that and your sticky pineapple chicken is so good. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThat is so neat, Kathy. I love that you love those dishes too. They are definitely favorites here too. And the 15 bean soup is so good. Definitely worth the price for all you get.
