Self Care Sunday

Remember that in order to help others you need to help yourself first. You cannot pour water from an empty well. So take some time today to nurture your mind, body and spirit.

As for me, I will be making a cup of my favorite herbal tea, relaxing, and reading up on my favorite blogs today. I’m hoping for a stress free day to rejuvenate myself.

How about you?

Belinda

  1. Same with me Belinda, though I have a decaf going...spending the day catching up with my blogger friends! ♥

  2. I guess what I have done all along is "self care." I learned, when I was teaching nights, to be very careful about how and with whom I spent my spare time, otherwise, others will take your time for granted. I need a lot of quiet, unstructured time in order to function at my best.

  3. That is so great that you recognize that about yourself, Meg. I like to go ahead and get ready for my day and then allow myself time to relax before starting my day. I would give myself 30 minutes or so to desires and just relax before heading out the door. It’s a good way to practice self care.

  5. I fed my soul by attending Mass today, and then once home doing my daily reflection.

Other than that I haven't left the house, and just enjoyed working on various projects.

    God bless.

  6. A bit of ice cream helps, and a good book.
