Last Wednesday I went to IGA after work and found 1/2 gallons of milk marked down to 50¢, so I picked up two of those. It's been a long time since I bought milk for $1.00 per gallon .
Here are our dinners from last week:
Monday: Baked Chicken, Chicken Flavored Rice, Brussel Sprouts
Tuesday: Spaghetti, Broccoli, Garlic Bread
Wednesday: Baked Potatoes with Sour Cream, Broccoli
Thursday: Homemade Pizza
Friday: Fish, Rice, and Brussel Sprouts
Saturday: Leftover Baked Potatoes fried in skillet, green beans
Sunday: Chicken, Sugar Snap Peas, Teriyaki Rice
I did go to Walgreens on Saturday to let my daughter pick up some of the 49¢ candy bars that were on sale. We had coupons and ended up paying 16¢ each for them.
How was your week?

Hi Belinda,
ReplyDeleteI hope you are 100% very soon! Colds are no fun!
Those are great deals on both the milk and the candy bars. I remember when milk was about $1 a gallon, on sale here -- that was over 20 years ago!
I kept to minimal spending for this past week, aside from stocking up on milk, on sale. It helps that I was just too busy, followed by too, too tired to do any spending or shopping.
Have a great week!
Thank you, Lili. I am feeling better today and hope that continues all week. I know what you mean about feeling too tired to do any spending. That is how I felt on Saturday. I had coupons, just too tired to shop. I hope you have a great week too! :)
