Curious about the walking taco casserole! My crew loves tacos.
ReplyDeleteMy husband keeps asking to put more sides on the menu for Thanksgiving, but it's just the four of us, so I've resisted so far. :-)
I’m with you, make it easy on yourself and do less sides. I will be posting the Walking Casserole recipe on Friday. If you need it before then let me know and I will send it to you. :)
DeleteWe are doing turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, rolls, cranberry sauce. My perfect plate is a tiny piece of turkey, a pile of stuffing, small sweet potato and cranberry sauce. Then later, a nice piece of chocolate cream pie! Homemade pork pie is what we have for Thanksgiving breakfast each year
ReplyDeleteThat all sounds delicious, Ellen. It’s been a long time since I’ve had chocolate pie. I need to make one soon.
DeleteYour menu is quite heavy on Mexican dishes this week. That reminded me that we haven't had Mexican in quite awhile. Next week I'll have to rectify that. 8-)
ReplyDeleteWe really like Mexican food. I could eat it everyday. 😂
DeleteThanksgiving is the same menu for us every year except maybe a change up on the salad. I would have a revolt if anything was missing! But, most of it is pretty easy.
ReplyDeleteThanksgiving dinner used to be that way for us too, although it has changed in recent years due to the long distance between family members. We do still have our favorite dishes though. I know what you mean about a revolt if anything were missing. If my Dad was going to be here I would need to make the dressing. Easy is good in my book. I like to cook ahead during the week so the actual day is easier.
DeleteI hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Lana.
It all sounds good. I love Mexican food of any type. I eat it a lot too.
ReplyDeleteI will be making a small turkey and some baked mac n cheese and a cheesecake and who knows what else. Just me and maybe a neighbor after T day. Looks forward to your sides! Have a great Thanksgiving.
Thank you, Cheryl. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving too!
DeleteAlso interested in the Walking taco casserole. I will be looking for the recipe on Friday.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Yes, it will be posted on Friday. We really ended up liking this one too. Anything Mexican is right up my alley. :)
DeleteFun. Thanks for sharing. Love to see what others plan!
