What We Ate This Week

Sunday Dinner
Cheesy Potatoes
Corn & Peas
Dressing
Blueberry Cobbler 



Monday & Tuesday Dinner

Mexican Goulash
Broccoli
Brussel Sprouts
Pickled Beets








Mexican Goulash

1 pound ground beef, browned
1 chopped onion, browned with ground beef (Drain any grease)
1 pound cooked elbow macaroni
1 can kidney beans, drained & rinsed
2 cans diced tomatoes 
Salt & Pepper to taste
Chili Powder to taste
Cheese to sprinkle on top

Wednesday

Chicken & White Bean Stew - This is a recipe that I made back in January using an oven roaster chicken and great northern beans I had cooked from dry. I put it in the freezer and took it out today to have for dinner. 

Thursday 

Onion & Mushroom Beef
Rice & Cheese with Broccoli
Steamed Vegetables



Friday

Medley of Leftovers
Chicken & White Bean Stew
Wild Rice Medley
Cajun Soup Beans
Broccoli

On Friday I served a medley of leftovers to avoid any food waste and to save money.

    1. Good observation, Anna. These are lighter than the Corelle plates we have. They get a lot of use and look like it too. LOL ... anything to lighten the load. :) :)

  5. Don't laugh at me, but never before had I tapped "thyme2save" above my comment. It took me to a profile that listed a blog, "thyme2save" with a
    photo beside it. I do not have a blog nor a clue whose photo that is. Will you remove the blog and photo that are not mine? Silly girl, I know you will.
