Sounds good, Belinda. Life can throw us some curve balls, and being able to reply upon your pantry stockpile has eased the expense of more take out and more gas to drive to see Mom. Frugal Queen is using a great expression, "Stoptober" indicating, stop spending in October, beyond the normal gas, electric, rent/mortgage etc. All extras are out of the budget
Oh I like that idea, Carol! Today, I made sandwiches and brought water, corn chips, and apples, so no eating out. I am going to try and do that everyday. I don't think she will get to come home tomorrow either, so bring food will help save money.
I hope your mom recovers quickly. Carol is right; it is nice to have the pantry stocked so that when emergencies arise you're able to do what you feel like you need to do without additional worry.
Thank you, Shara. Hopefully Mom will get to come home soon, andYou're right about the well stocked pantry. Every little bit like that helps. :)
Good job paying off your clothing store credit card, Belinda! And I'm so happy for you that you've picked up so many days work this past month! I hope October continues in the same direction.
Thank you, Lili. I hope you have a terrific October as well.
Thank you for visiting the Frugal Workshop.
