Easter Sunday is upon us and if you celebrate this holiday I hope you have a wonderful holiday and you're spending it with the ones you love. 

Here is our menu for the holiday:

Baked Ham
Cornbread Dressing 
Mashed Potatoes
Deviled Eggs
Brussel Sprouts
Corn

    Dd is doing Easter this year so a nice break from cooking. Just the usual, ham, potatoes, asparagus and a baguette from Aldi's to bake. I am bringing dessert.

  7. Belinda, I read elsewhere that none of your Easter plans happened due to water problems: no water. Nevertheless, I expect your planned food will be this week's meals and perhaps lunches.

    Not much interested in breakfast foods, I would rather eat veggies. Before leaving for
    high school, I often opened the fridge and settled for cold leftovers from the previous evening meal. Not deprived but gave me a happier tummy. Ate the food cold because I liked it cold in the morning.

    Fried eggs, sausage or bacon, and toast do not excite my taste buds. I do want fruit.

    In my early 20's, I wanted a western omlette for lunch, which was inexpensive to prepare.

    Healthy and tasty foods are not difficult to prepare. YUM.

  8. So true, Anna. I took leftover stir fry yesterday and today and eat them cold as they are refreshing to me. It's easy enough to pull them out of the fridge in the morning. We finally got water back Sunday evening around 4:30 but ended up making a pizza I had on hand. We've postponed our Easter meal. :)
