Snow in the forecast is the perfect time to make chili in my opinion. My family thought so too. So we hunkered down and watched the movie, The Lost and Found Family, while eating our bowls of chili. :)

we barely have any snow here.....mind you I am touching wood as I say that, as winter is far from being over.
ReplyDeleteWe had about an inch today, Gill, so not too much. This is just the beginning though.
DeleteWe had chilli yesterday, DD and I are having the leftovers for supper tonight!
ReplyDeleteThat is what we did tonight too, Carol, leftovers. :)
DeleteThat's too bad about the snow day canceling your work opportunity. Hopefully, though, there will be many more opportunities to sub this year.
ReplyDeleteYour price on ground beef is amazing! I bought chicken leg quarters for 49 cents/lb yesterday, and it seemed a bit early in the year for such a great price, giving me hope that some of our prices are heading downward, as well.
I hope so to, Lili. I was shock,ed to see the ground beef so low. Your price on chicken legs quarters is great too, they are like $1 a pound here usually.
DeleteI am loving your chili. I will have to have Hubby make some soon.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen that price on ground beef in forever. It's on slae here this week for $ 2.69 a lb.
I have not seen that price in a long time either. And the price of eggs has come down too recently. It's so good to see this. :)
DeleteLove your blog:)
ReplyDeleteIt is helping me stay on track with my 2016 goals. Thank you for sharing all of your great tips!
