My Frugal Week
They had beef and chicken on markdown. The chicken was $5.99 per package and has three huge chicken breasts in both packages while the ground beef has three pounds in each package for $5.99 each. We bought five of those.

Those were some great deals. I think I would have gotten more of the dressing - it is so good on anything!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice Fed Ex guy!
Have a good week
Yes, I love the buttermilk dressing on multiple things, Cheryl. Yes, our FedEx guy is the best. They have really shined thru this pandemic.
DeleteSo happy you had someone clear your tree for you - what a great guy! And, those are some great deals at the store.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I know that was really nice of our FedEx man.
DeleteGood buys! We don’t have an Ingles in our area, but we are going on vacation where Ingles is the only store. We are looking forward to doing our vacation meal shopping there.
ReplyDeleteI really like Ingle's. They are a little more expensive than some stores, but I still like to window shop there. LOL
DeleteYou really got some great deals Belinda! We sure can't find prices even close to that here in Florida.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Martha. We are always happy when we can find such markdowns.
DeleteIt was very nice of the FedEx man to move the tree for you. 😊
ReplyDeleteI didn’t know about folders in Google Maps. I’m going to see how to do it.
Hope you have a wonderful week, Belinda.
Thank you, Nil. We thought that was very nice of the FedEx man too.
DeleteIT is hard to get internet where I live also. I wish we lived close as I would love to yard sale with you!
ReplyDeleteOh, that would be so much fun, Kim. we would have a blast.
DeleteSounds like a good week. Great deals! Your meals sound delicious!
ReplyDeleteI love your idea of putting your garage sale route into google maps. Saves time and gas too.
Sorry about the internet troubles. Our tv antenna loses signal in the summer with all the leaves on the trees, but it can still pick up those shopping channels that I don't want.
Hope you can see better with your new glasses. I'm glad the fedex man was able to move the tree so that you could get out.
Hope you have a good week.
Thank you, Kathy. You're so sweet. When we had Dish network it would do that to the cable in the summertime too. Those shopping channels and advertisements find a way to get thru, don't they?
DeleteGreat deals Belinda.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Those were great meat prices! This week, I have just been tired this week. I have to pass up most yard sales since the walk is too far...lol. I love to hear about your yard sales.
ReplyDeleteIt will be quite a while before we can have any fresh fruit; we should see strawberries and maybe raspberries within three weeks, and our two small trees are loaded with little green apples.
ReplyDeleteHowever, we did have a big salad from our garden and yard today: Red Sails lettuce, several kinds of Asian greens (they've gone rogue and reseed themselves every year), young quinoa leaves (ditto), some kind of red-green lettuce (ditto), spinach and chives.
Tomorrow my niece's sister-in-law is having a BIG garage sale, so I hope to make it over there. This woman does four big consignment sales a year and visits thrift shops and other people's yard sales all year long. She usually has some great finds, so I might be able to do a little early Christmas shopping.
