Oh YUM! Thanks
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Cheryl. This one is definitely a keeper.
DeleteOh wow! That looks like a really nice recipe for summer. In a big pan, it sure would serve a lot of people. We have a 60th birthday for my sister that lost her husband in March-this s the kind of desert she would love more than birthday cake.
ReplyDeleteYes, this is a terrific recipe to serve multiple people. The bottom layer tastes almost like a Pecan Sandie cookie. Good recipe for summer time for sure.
DeleteI think my MIL used to make something like this that was delicious. After she died a lot of her recipes were lost with her. Thank you for posting this. I will make it soon and we can remember Nana while we enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteThat happens often when our older family members pass away. They asked me what I wanted when they were cleaning out my grandparents home and I went for her recipe box. There are so many family favorites in there.
DeleteOh I had forgotten about lemon lush. My mom used to make it, and it was so cool and refreshing on a hot day. Thanks for the recipe and the memories.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Kathy. I associate some of my recipes with memories too. :)
