Wow! Those are some great meat prices! What a blessing!
ReplyDeleteThank you, MamaHen. Definitely a blessing. :)
DeleteWhat a lovely eek. Your meat deals are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend.
Thank you, Cheryl. I hope you have a good weekend too. :)
DeleteBailey is amazing, you are a lucky momma.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!
Thank you, Mary Lou. I appreciate that, she is a sweetheart. I hope you have a good weekend too.
ReplyDeleteI love your frugal Friday post! Always such good ideas. That one about saving boxes and reusing is great idea. I used to do that, but I got too many and it just ended up being a cluttered mess of boxes. lol Then the frustration of wanting to just throw everything away. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sarah. That means a lot to me. :) We do have boxes stacked up in our shipping area. They almost reach the ceiling. LOL
DeleteWow, you scored some great deals!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Carol. :)
DeleteThis is exactly how I buy all my meat.
ReplyDeleteWe only buy meat on sale or on markdown here too. :)
DeleteYou always find the best deals, Belinda! 😊
ReplyDeleteI stayed home all this week, so I saved money by not buying anything. 😀
Thank you, Nil. Staying home is a great way to save money!!
DeleteBelinda and Bailey are a great money-saving team. DH found an error in not receiving points for vehicle gas, made a call, and will receive 90-cents off per gallon at end-of-August fill-up. Good saving for him.
DeleteThat is terrific, Anna. Good for him!
DeleteThose meat prices are the best. I agree Bailey is the best.
ReplyDeleteI keep my list on my phone too. I have it in categories. I have my grocery list, non-grocery list, thrift list, art supply list. Been doing this since the days of the very first Palm Pilots, lol. I even make notes like Coupon for Cat Food. I won't forget the coupon. I even write prices for things so I know if the store is charging higher than they should and if it's a good deal. I am one of those super organized people, lol.
I don't use a price book either. I take my lists every week and look online for best deals before I go shopping. Then I know if I want to order online, or go to that store. It saves so much money and helps with not running around everywhere. It only takes about five minutes a week for me to price compare. I will never do a price book again.
If I am at WalMart I see something I want that is a good deal I will look online to see if I can find a better deal. Plus, I check WalMart online and have them honor the price. For example we bought a new cable box a couple weeks ago. The store had it $12 higher than WalMart. We showed them WM online's price and saved $12.
Thank you, Safyne Anais. You really know how to use your smart book to your advantage. I am in awe of you and how you use it. I'm going to have to get better as using mine to save money.
ReplyDeleteHi Belinda,
ReplyDeleteHave you ever mixed bulk sausage with ground beef? My partner makes meatloaf, meatballs and even hamburgers this way and the result is very savory. He doesn't do this every time -- only when we find a decent price on sausage.
You're lucky to have multiple supermarket options. Here we have just two, plus a limited amount of groceries at Walmart.
