Goals for 2015

Tonight marks the beginning of a brand new year, and is often the time when people reflect back on the previous year and make a list of goals they would like to work on in the new year. As 2014 rolls over into 2015 I find it is time to decide what my goals are for this coming year.

Goals for 2015

Continue to Live within my Means
Avoid Consumerism
Utilize the Tools I've been given
Increase Savings
Increase my Income
Increase Ebay sales
Continue to Declutter
Acquire No New Debt
Weight Loss

That is what I will be working on this year.

What are your goals for the new year?

I hope you and your family are healthy and happy in the new year, and I wish all of God's blessings on you.  :)

  1. I don't like to call them resolutions. I prefer to think of them as goals. And they are pretty much the same as last year.

    - - Save MORE (I was okay in 2013, could have been better. I got off to a good start in 2014 and then I lost my job in May)

    - - Spend LESS (Huge strides for me in 2013. I am a spender by nature. Did well in 2014 thanks to losing my job in May, lol)

    - - Go to gym 3x a week (epic fail in 2013. Although I did go 2x a week on avg for 7 or 8 months of the year - - With no job for 6 months, I was able to go to the gym a lot)

    - - Eat better (I had my ups and downs with this one)

    - - Lose 20 pounds (that did NOT happen)

    - - Less time online. (that did NOT happen)

    - - Read at least 60 books (that DID happen, once again thanks to having no job for 6 months)

    - - Declutter, declutter, declutter (that is an ongoing process)

Belinda, I want to wish you and yours a happy, healthy and prosperous 2015 :)

    1. Thank you, Kelly. I'm sorry that you lost your job in May. That must have been hard on you. Looks like you turned that into something positive by making it to the gym a lot. If I could, I would go swimming everyday. It makes me feel so good! Sounds like a great list of goals there, I wish you the best in 2015! :)

    1. Thank you, Carol. I have that same goal, and hopefully by this time next year there will be a big difference. Best of luck to you in this category too. :)

  3. I haven't really settled on any particular goals for the year, but if I had to pick I'd say my top three are getting daughter settled in college, sewing more for myself, and maintaining my weight loss. I've also committed to making sure I stick to the wheat free diet the doctor had me on -- sooooo tough because I do love to bake. At least my family will eat my creations...lol
