Dinner Tonight

Dinner tonight is Pork Chops, made in the Crockpot, Rice and Cheese, and Green Beans with Onions. Total cost of this meal was $9.46, and since I fed four people that worked out to $2.37 per person.  Much cheaper than any restaurant meal around here.

What's for dinner at your house tonight?

  1. Yummy! I love to cook pork in the crockpot. It is always so tender.

Dinner tonight is a simple stir fry. I'm using up some things in the frig that need to be used up.

  2. Thanks, Shara. I do like the pork in the crockpot. It literally falls off the bone when you cook it that way.

Your dinner sounds good too. I like to use cole slaw mix in my stir fry and throw in a can or two of pineapple if I have it on hand. :)

  3. Crockpot "baked" beef-turkey meatloaf, mashed potatoes, canned corn, tossed salad with choice of homemade dressings.

  4. Sounds good, Carol. I see you are using your Crockpot too. It was really cool here yesterday, only in the upper 70s though. Felt good. :)
