First Frugal Friday of June 2024

Welcome to Frugal Friday!

My Frugal Week

On Saturday we went to several yard sales. I found myself a new pair of capri pants in my smaller size for 50 cents, which thrills me to pieces.

I met with the attorney on Monday at the courthouse and signed the new property deeds, now all the property, both Moms and Dads,  is in mine and my siblings names. Our first attorney didn't work out, but the title attorney was just what we needed.

That was the only time I've been out of the house this week, so no shopping or spending money this week. I even have a full tank of gas still, which is down to $2.86 per gallon here.

I worked through ore of my Facebook groups and have whittled it down to only 68 groups. Many of them were for yard sale groups that were inactive.

How was your week?

Thank you for dropping by my frugal blog, you are always welcome here.

We would love to hear all about your week in the comment section.

  3. Yay on new capris and the smaller size too.
So glad you were able to get the property paperwork done, and I'm sure it was a relief in a way.
Gas is cheaper down your way; I think I paid $3.49/gallon a few days ago. Hope you have a great weekend.

    1. Thank you, Kathy. Yes, getting the property paperwork done was good relief. I saw gas yesterday for $2.76, so it is coming down even more now and I hope it does by you all as well. I hope you also have a great weekend and hope you are doing well.

  4. Capris for 50 cents is great. Smaller size is even greater.

  5. Great price on those capris. Nothing much happening here, no lowering of gas prices here as of yet, hopefully very soon.

    God bless.

  6. Congratulations on the smaller size capri pants! I'm trying to lose weight, but it's not coming off quickly :( So glad for you that the properties are all taken care of. Will you be keeping both properties or selling one? Gas here in NJ is $3.43 which is better than the $3.69 I've been paying. Wow, you were part of a lot of Facebook groups LOL! Have a wonderful weekend! Janel in NJ

    1. Thanks, Janel. I wish you the best on your weight loss journey. My brother and sister want to sell both properties, which I initially did not want, but have since changed my mind and will sell Dad's property. We currently live in the house on Mom's property, so it would be a long time before we well that. time will tell for sure. I hope you are doing well and have a wonderful weekend too.
