We just ate down a few things from the fridge and freezer once hoe yesterday, but I had to cook up a pound of ground beef that was thawed. It might be goulash or tacos-not sure yet. We need some odds and ends groceries so haven't really meal thought beyond this for the week, but it will be simple as we both juggle a lot at work and home. I think we'll do a soup and sandwich night, I have the last of a whole chicken to make into broth today and soup.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds good, Sam. We are getting towards the end of our monthly shop, so I need to cook even more from scratch than usual. But it all works out in the end. :)
DeleteI am glad to see we are not the only adults who will have a beanie weenie meal!
ReplyDeleteLOL, Anne. We do like them. 😊
DeleteI wonder if I can get Harvey to eat Beanie Weenies........Perhaps I will give that a try next week on Hot Dog night.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
We really like them here and they are a money saving meal especially if you cook the beans from dried beans.
DeleteWe had 10 bean soup with rice for a couple days recently. Delicious!!
ReplyDeleteYum, that sounds delicious, Penny.
DeleteIt's chicken here and cauliflower and maybe some potatoes.
ReplyDeleteSounds good, Kim. I’m keeping you in good thoughts and prayers.
