Than you for the reminder. I needed a thermometer this week and could not find mine s I borrowed one from Bailey. I need to get another one to have on hand for these times. I've had to replace the batteries in my Dad's for him before, so it is a good idea to have more than one on hand. I'm glad you were able to get one quickly. Stocking up on the batteries is a great idea too. I needed a couple of vitamins this week and they were three times the amount before the pandemic. Talk about sticker shock. I found them cheaper at WalMart online. I noticed WalMart is fluctuating on prices but not as bad as Amazon.

I was reading the replies. I saw that Anne mentioned about Fauci's long Fall. When the virus went rampant in Spring I told my DH we need to worry about Fall. I had a feeling it was going to be long and hard. DH & I started a mass stock-up in Spring to prepare for Fall. It was challenging to stock up during a pandemic in a new way, lol. I learned so much. You think you are so prepared. Then you realize that there are things you never ever thought of. When my DH got sick and we thought he had Covid, my thermometer went on the blink. I had to call a loved one to buy me a new thermometer. I could not leave the home and just run down and get one. Thank gosh he was able to get one to me quickly. He's a nurse so he was such a godsend. Then my old thermometer started working. Having two thermometers have really helped. I was able to take my DH's temp twice to make sure numbers matched and monitor symptoms. Never thought we needed two thermometers in the home. When I went shopping the next time I really stocked up on tiny little thermometer batteries, lol.SafyneAnaishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08037905819241141808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-225169024525576477.post-76927644691010841762020-09-12T01:06:58.936-04:002020-09-12T01:06:58.936-04:00What a great week!

If I did please delete the first one!
I noticed Amazon prices are rising also. Since we are doing no travel, entertaining or being entertained I decided I would order one dehydrated stock up item every other week (Nothing that I can do from home with fruits or veggies, but things like dehydrated sour cream, etc) They have been going crazy lately. Up then down a little then soaring. Now I play a waiting game for whichever product drops in price first. Since Dr. Fauci just issued his statement that we might be in for a difficult fall.
