I am no fan of turkey, so that helps. I may give it a try. We heard yesterday that beef prices here may go to $5 a pound, so this may be a necessary cost cutter for us in the future.Belindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17486895127003368291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-225169024525576477.post-92218800343990608292012-01-26T19:18:38.822-05:002012-01-26T19:18:38.822-05:00Ground chicken isn't as "gamey" as g...Ground chicken isn't as "gamey" as ground turkey. I buy the reg. grnd chicken, rarely the ground ck breast as it is so expensive. With either chicken or turkey, they both have to be fairly heavily seasoned. Great as tacos, chilli, or seasoned burgers.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-225169024525576477.post-60282759983588551492012-01-25T18:48:25.598-05:002012-01-25T18:48:25.598-05:00Thank you, Carol. I am not crazy about ground turkey and so have been reluctant to try the ground chicken.Belindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17486895127003368291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-225169024525576477.post-22088889799556331412012-01-24T18:36:18.675-05:002012-01-24T18:36:18.675-05:00Sorry you're not feeling well. Ground beef is so expensive here, I often use grnd chicken or poultry instead, as it's $1.49/lb on sale vs twice as much when on sale for beef.CTMOMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04825780992878036362noreply@blogger.com
