I enjoy doing that so much. :)Belindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17486895127003368291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-225169024525576477.post-16261089706099291992012-07-28T10:51:15.731-04:002012-07-28T10:51:15.731-04:00Hi Belinda,

I tend to freeze more than I put up in jars. I have the freezer space, and it's easier for me (no pressure canner, so only do things high in vinegar/acid or sugar).Lilihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13292553654219380455noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-225169024525576477.post-72230384265019079312012-07-24T09:47:22.992-04:002012-07-24T09:47:22.992-04:00Your welcome, Pamela. :) Yum, we love pickled can ...Your welcome, Pamela. :) Yum, we love pickled can beets - that is on my list of things to can this year too even if I have to buy them from the Farmer's market! lol :)Belindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17486895127003368291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-225169024525576477.post-69941177331709773542012-07-24T09:45:45.014-04:002012-07-24T09:45:45.014-04:00Thank you, Carol. :) I really want to grow enough ...Thank you, Carol. :) I really want to grow enough green beans and be able to pressure can them. My grandparents did that for years. maybe next year will be the year that I finally do that. I need to put it on my list of things to do. :)Belindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17486895127003368291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-225169024525576477.post-87456347883108199082012-07-24T06:16:02.192-04:002012-07-24T06:16:02.192-04:00Sounds like a great plan, Belinda. Extra produce is currently being frozen (greens mostly) or dried (herbs). Squash finally appeared last week, so there is promise of much more to come!

Agree with both you and Pamela, nothing duplicates home canned tomatoes!CTMOMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04825780992878036362noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-225169024525576477.post-31978846306551932892012-07-24T06:01:59.479-04:002012-07-24T06:01:59.479-04:00That is so useful--thank you for the link.

I also ate the beets I canned. (Well, I gave a few of each away, too as friends and family really appreciate home-canned food.)Pamelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11890268843343589071noreply@blogger.com
