Bi-Lo ~ Free Minute Maide Coolers from My Coke Rewards
My trip to Bi-Lo yesterday also included picking up a box of Minute Maid Coolers. This was a coupon for a free box that I "purchased" from My Coke Rewards for 40 points. A nice freebie for us as we rarely ever buy juice boxes.
Also, they had the Southern Home Cheddar Cheese on sale. 24 ounces for $4.99, which works out to $1.66 for an 8 ounce block, which is definitely our new stock up price. I bought three blocks, which should last me a while. :)

I love it when you can get a treat item absolutely free. How do My Coke Rewards work?
ReplyDeleteHi Lili, You can check out the My Coke Rewards website to see which all drinks are eligible as there are several that count towards the program. ON the caps of any coke bottle products and boxes of coke products are codes that you enter that are worth points. You enter them at the website and the save them up to "buy" things with them. They are on Powderaide drinks too. I save mine up and get free 12 packs of code products. A coke bottle cap is worth 3 points, and a box is worth 10 points, and a coupon for a free box of 12 Coke products is worth 240 points. It is totally worth it! Here is a post I did on them:

Thanks Belinda! I'll keep my eyes open for these. I don't buy soda, but my son and his friends do occasionally, and our church youth group does, and I'm often around at clean-up time, so could scavenge the boxes!
DeleteYou're welcome, Lili. That is the way we get most of ours. lol
DeleteIsn't it nice to be able to occasionally have the things you would never pay full price for on hand? And free makes it all the better.
ReplyDeleteGreat find on cheese. I bought cheese yesterday at just under $4 a lb. I was stunned at how expensive it is getting. However I will say that for the most part it is the only dairy I consume. My all time favorite is ice cream, but the doctor has nixed that. At least I can get away with a little cheese...lol...especially the lower fat and lower sodium versions.
Yes, it is nice to have things that you wouldn't normally pay full price for, Shara. :) Love it when that happens. Cheese is getting expensive, and I'm so glad I can find it on sale from time to time because every little bit helps as you know. :)
